Musser Automation was born with a simple vision: what would it look like for professionals in the industrial automation space to more fully leverage all the modern software tools at their disposal? The engineering that goes into designing and building custom machine equipment is hard work. And there are fantastic tools and processes that already exist in many sectors for taming complexity, streamlining workflows, and delivering high-quality products. At Musser Automation we believe in delivering value by connecting the tools from many different industries.

The company was founded by Andrew Musser in 2023. With over 14 years of experience developing software for PLCs and commissioning machines in the field, we have a deep understanding of the OT landscape and its needs, and have worked across many different industries. We love to experiment with new technologies and explore interesting ways they can tie into the machine building workflow — whether we're rolling out CI/CD pipeline capabilities for PLCs, building high-fidelity simulation environments for your machine, or connecting LLMs to your machine logs for real-time analysis.
